Summary: Allows concealed carry of dirk, dirk knife, bowie knife, dagger for anyone 21 or over, and eliminates restriction on concealed knives over 4 inches in blade length.

The Idaho legislature convened on January 11, 2016 and is expected to adjourn April 1, 2016. The Governor’s projected deadline is April 13, 2016.
Effective date of legislation: No act shall take effect until July 1 of the year of the regular session or sixty (60) days from the end of the session it was passed, whichever date occurs last.
